Job Description Summary: ARLP is seeking a skilled Sr Business Analyst to join our Financial Transformation Team. This role will provide project management support and perform activities as directed for other active projects in the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology, along with extensive project management experience to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities will vary based on the individual's level and experience. Specific responsibilities may include:
Project Management:
- Clearly outline what the project will and will not include, setting project boundaries, and managing expectations.
- Develop a comprehensive plan that includes timelines, resources, budget, and deliverables.
- Monitor progress, set deadlines and communicate with various stakeholders ensuring that each action item is met accurately and on time.
- Identify potential risks, assess their impact, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Effectively remove roadblocks and other issues that arise during the project.
- Prepare testing strategies, develop test scripts, and conduct end-user testing for new features and configurations.
- Provide training and support to end users
Reporting and Process Improvement & Analysis:
- Analyze current processes & workflows and user experiences to identify areas for improvement.
- Learn reporting tools and provide end user support and training for those tools
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or commensurate work experience.
- Project management experience with cross functional teams and processes
- Ability to create and administer testing and training documentation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to pivot quickly between tasks.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly.
- Full-time onsite role based in Tulsa, Oklahoma
- Travel to remote sites within the Alliance family of companies on occasion
